Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Amendment Bill

This Bill amends the Births, Deaths, and Marriages Registration Act 1995 in order to improve the ability of the Registrar-General to collect and verify information and modernise the Act to take account of technological and social developments. The Bill also changes the title of the amended Act to reflect the recognition extended to relationships other than marriage.
