Securities Legislation Bill

This bill is an omnibus bill amending the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Takeovers Act 1993, and the Takeovers Code in force under the Takeovers Act 1993 . The bill addresses a number of second tier application issues to ensure that securities and takeovers laws apply to entities and securities market participants that the public would expect to be regulated.
