Next week in the House priority will be given to the completion of the Appropriation (2006/07) Estimates Bill and the remaining stages of the Protected Objects Amendment Bill and the Coroners Bill. If possible, priority will also be given to the first readings of the Ngāti Mutanga Claims Settlement Bill, the Customs and Excise Amendment Bill (No 2), and the Health (Drinking Water) Amendment Bill.
Wednesday is a members’ day, and it has already been agreed between the parties that the Hon Jim Sutton’s valedictory speech will occur at 5.30 p.m. on that day.
