Why was insufficient time provided to the committee to allow it to give full consideration to the matter this week, as he indicated to the House would be the case in response to my oral question on 18 June 2009?

I am sure the member knows it is a very busy committee. Yesterday we dealt with an 830-page tax bill, two estimate reviews, and two sets of audits. It is a hard-working committee that makes its best endeavours to work its way through the agenda. I am sure that member will participate fully.
