Mr SPEAKERI am advised that it is not in order to ask that supplementary question, because the primary question was in relation to the Methodist Church of New Zealand Trusts Bill, and supplementary questions should relate to that.

I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. I am not going to dispute the effect of your ruling, at all; I think it is correct. But I think it is also relatively important that you take responsibility for the ruling and say that the question is out of order, rather than that you were advised; otherwise, you are putting the ruling on the Clerk, and that is not very fair.
