I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. I apologise for not raising this point of order the moment it happened, but I was so gobsmacked that it has taken me a moment to work out what just went on. At the end of the previous set of questions, I believe I heard you, as Speaker, invite the Minister to seek leave to table documents. That is something that the Speaker should not be involved in. Members have a perfect right to seek leave to table documents, but where the Speaker invites them to do so, it implies a relationship between the Speaker and in this case the Government that could be seen to be inappropriate.
