In response to a question in respect of how much the existing emissions trading scheme legislation would reduce emissions, I advised the House that the information was in the regulatory impact statement that had been provided. In fact, it was in the economic analysis that was with the regulatory impact statement provided to the Emissions Trading Scheme Review Committee. I seek the leave of the House to table the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research report that has the information that the member sought.
