I move, That urgency be accorded the first reading of the Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Bill; the passing through their remaining stages of the Land Transport (Enforcement Powers) Amendment Bill, the Vehicle Confiscation and Seizure Bill, the Social Assistance (Payment of New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran’s Pension Overseas) Amendment Bill, the Sentencing (Offender Levy) Amendment Bill, the Domestic Violence (Enhancing Safety) Bill, and any bills into which any of those bills may be divided; and the introduction of Government bills. This motion is moved in order to gain extra sitting hours to enable the House to consider a number of bills that members of this House and outside groups have indicated they are keen to see passed as rapidly as possible.
