Earlier in question time, the Acting Prime Minister questioned whether the facts that I was putting to him were correctly based. This was about cutting English language services to migrants. I seek leave to table a letter to me from the executive director of the Auckland Regional Migrant Services Charitable Trust, dated 27 August, where she talks about the very significant impact that funding cuts will have on the ability of migrants and refugees to settle by not allowing them to get access to these courses.
