I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. I bring to the attention of the House that the chairman of the Māori Affairs Committee has called an urgent meeting of the Māori Affairs Committee tomorrow. Unfortunately, not a lot of people on this side of the House can be at that meeting, because it does not fall on the usual day that we meet, and members of the select committee have other select committee business and other issues to attend to. I am wondering what the Speaker’s view of that would be. It would have been all right if we had had notice of the meeting, but we did not have any notice; it has come out of the blue. Mr Deputy Speaker, I would appreciate your view.
