Has he received any reports on the reduction in health inequalities under a Labour-led Government?

Yes, I launched the Tracking Disparity research last month. The research showed that although inequality in health outcomes between ethnic groups and across income brackets grew steeply in the late 1980s and right through the 1990s, it appears that those gaps may have stopped growing and may have even started to narrow. We can celebrate this early sign of success and acknowledge those who work in the health system to deliver it, but the disparities are still large and they are still unacceptable.
