I have been advised by the Director-General of Health that the Ministry of Health retained these men in accordance with the ministry’s employment and procurement policies respectively. I have also asked the State Services Commissioner to confirm that these appointments were consistent with the ministry’s policies and procedures.

Those are matters that the Director-General of Health is in charge of, because those matters are operational. He has assured me that everything has been done in accordance with the ministry’s policies and procedures.
